Scope Of Work
Rothwell Construction did four tilt-up concrete construction jobs in Lee’s Summit, Missouri over a four year period. Each building had the same layout so once the first building was complete; it was natural for Rothwell Construction to complete the rest. The 50,000 SF buildings are used as office warehouses now. The tilt-up job consisted of onsite forming of 75 panels, each 34 feet tall and 100,000 pounds. Once the panels where completed on the ground, a crane was used to “tilt-up” each panel and set it in place, forming the outside walls of the building. Preston Rothwell worked as the Senior Project Manager & Superintendent on all four projects. Each building brought it’s own challenges, but Rothwell Construction kept each project running smoothly until completion.
