Scope Of Work
The mixed-use retail store in Lee’s Summit, Missouri came with unique obstacles in regard to the tilt-up concrete construction portion of the project. The layout of the building left limited SF floor space: leaving it impossible to use all the same concrete panels. Therefore, Senior Project Manager Preston Rothwell and Gary Sims as the onsite Superintendent had multiple sizes of panels made, some over 100,000 pounds. It was also necessary to build a “throw away” concrete slab in order to balance the panels during tilt-up. Even with the obstacles, the shop went up on time and within budget.
