Qualtrics was slated to be the first tenant for the new property. As such, Abstract Construction worked closely with the shell construction team to ensure progress was on track. In addition, because open concept designs are challenging in terms of space planning and design, Abstract Construction was in constant communication to ensure every step of the process went smoothly and that all teams were working toward the same goals. The exposed ceilings meant the teams had to be mindful of wiring, systems, noise control, and acoustics, and the installation of the large stone countertops in the kitchen was challenging due to their sheer size and weight.

Abstract Construction was charged with realizing the client’s vision for an open concept industrial-inspired design that best utilized available natural light, and guaranteeing that the project was completed on time and on budget. The team managed, collaborated, and supervised the project from start to finish, ensuring continual communication and transparency with all partners and stakeholders.

Abstract Construction delivered the new space on time and on budget. From overseeing the installation of the all-glass meeting rooms to ensuring the open space promoted collaboration and team work, Abstract Construction kept the teams focused on reflecting the client’s innovative, contemporary brand. Everyone involved with the project, from the client and construction manager to the broker and space planner, were happy with the results.
