Scope Of Work
Before the buildout began, Abstract Construction had to work with the City of Dallas to secure a certificate of occupancy, putting the project on a fast-track schedule in order to meet the client’s move-in deadline. Although the building was leased up, it was still vacant. As such, several other tenants had commissioned projects for the same time as the client. This meant the Abstract team had to coordinate with four other contractors working on nine floors to keep things running smoothly. Adding to the logistics complexity was the fact that the new elevators had maintenance issues, often prohibiting their use. Abstract Construction had to stay in continual communication with vendors and the client to schedule and receive material deliveries.
