Scope Of Work
Cabela’s is a 105,812-SF retail department store specializing in hunting, fishing and outdoor equipment. Rogers-O’Brien completed the new construction of their Allen, Texas, location, which includes tilt-wall panels, structural steel, metal deck, additional wood structure and deck, EPDM roof, standing seam metal roof, skylights, masonry and interior finish-out. The store features a two-story conservation mountain, a 13,170-gallon aquarium, five raised wildlife dioramas, Express Café, a world-class gun library, and hundreds of wild game trophies displayed in Cabela’s trademark bring-the-outdoors-indoors showroom. Other highlights include a general store and bargain cave as well as a reproduction of a Texas state record whitetail.
