Scope Of Work

Before Allstate could begin our work at John E. Ford School, two weeks of ash remediation; unsuitable soils, was required. Unsuitable soils were excavated, removed, and replaced with suitable permeable soils.  Significant upgrades to the site drainage infrastructure were completed including expansion of the existing storm water ponds.  The new construction consisted of the expansion of the existing cafeteria / food service facilities and the addition of the new physical education locker room and filed house facilities.  The new PE facilities included ADA accessible lockers, private changing space, bathroom, and showers.  All new spaces included student health and safety features; code compliant exhaust and ventilation, anti-microbial painting and flooring, etc..  The project was completed while the campus was fully occupied and much of the work involved was noisy and distracting; therefore, Allstate built a schedule that allowed this type of work to be done over holiday breaks and after hours without disruption to the campus activities.
