Scope Of Work
We helped get Oklahoma’s fastest growing county ready for the future with the new Frisco Road Interchange.
Between 2010 and 2019, the population of Canadian County grew by 28%, ranking it as the fastest growing county in Oklahoma. To support the growth of the suburbs on the west side of Oklahoma City, the Oklahoma Department of Transportation issued a $14,000,000 contract in the summer of 2020. The contract turned the once sleepy two-lane Frisco Road into a vehicle and pedestrian friendly four-lane thoroughfare with access to Interstate 40.
Our construction crews used concrete and base materials produced at our onsite concrete plant to widen Frisco Road for approximately one half-mile on the north and south sides of Interstate 40. The new four-lane roadway can now accommodate the flow of traffic entering and exiting I-40 via the new eastbound and westbound on/off ramps we built as part of this project. In addition to the roadway work on the interchange, our crews constructed a new 355’ long by 87’ wide bridge that carries five lanes (four thru lanes + a turn lane) of traffic and two pedestrian sidewalks over Interstate 40.
Our team coordinated with numerous subcontractors and various City and State stakeholders to complete this project. This project builds on our long history of delivering the highest quality products to the State of Oklahoma and the local communities. We look forward to watching the positive impact the new Frisco Road Interchange has on the OKC metro for years to come.
