Our Story

UNDERWOOD ENGINEERING COMPANY, INC

Underwood Engineering Company (UEC) is a Geotechnical Engineering and Construction Materials Testing and Inspection company that provides a wide variety of engineering services, construction materials testing, and inspections to architects, engineers, contractors, developers, and government agencies.

UEC was established and incorporated in the state of New Jersey in 1978. Under the direction of Mr. William R. Underwood, PE, UEC has performed Geotechnical Engineering and Testing & Inspection services on over 15,000 projects in the Delaware Valley.

Underwood Engineering Company is certified by the New Jersey Treasury Division of Property Management & Construction and has been inspected by the Army Corps of Engineers, the American Materials Reference Laboratory and the AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory.

Underwood Engineering Testing Labs, Inc. has been listed in the Blue Book since 1982.
