Scope Of Work

Alief ISD’s Taylor High School was constructed east of Sugar Land Howell Road in Harris County, Texas. The campus includes the high school building, student and staff parking areas, bus loop, tennis facility, athletic fields, and field house. The objectives of this study were to develop geotechnical design parameters and construction considerations for the proposed high school, tennis facility, and field house and subgrade preparation and section thickness for the paving. To accomplish these objectives, our study included a field program to explore stratigraphic and water conditions, laboratory testing to measure soil properties, and engineering analyses.
