Scope Of Work
RICK provided preliminary and final traffic design documents for a new median crossover on US-93 at Milepost 125. The new crossover was for an existing driveway access point that serves a number of properties, including cattle ranch truck traffic, and mitigates the safety issues caused by vehicles illegally crossing the median. Traffic alternatives analyzed included several geometric intersection layouts, protected left and right turn deceleration lanes, an acceleration lane, and various signing and striping options.
