Scope Of Work

RICK prepared a High Intensity Activated Crosswalk (HAWK) pedestrian signal plan for a midblock pedestrian crossing located on California Baptist University’s campus. The HAWK signal was designed to provide a safe pedestrian crossing for students, especially those living across the street in student housing facilities. The pedestrian signal plan included ADA accessible pedestrian ramps, countdown pedestrian modules, and bollards to protect the pedestrians waiting to cross the street. Lastly, signing and striping plans were prepared, as well as construction support that included responding to the contractor RFIs during construction.
