Scope Of Work
Climatec retrofitted the existing antiquated control system with a new Alerton control system at the third-largest theatre in California which seats more than 6000 people. The HVAC system under control includes 6 Air Handling Units, 2 Chillers, 2 Cooling Towers, and a Smoke Purge Exhaust System. This is the first phase of an ongoing retrofit plan for building automation, energy management and critical monitoring. In addition, Climatec designed and installed a 450 IP camera surveillance and recording system for Universal CityWalk, the retail and entertainment complex where the Gibson Amphitheatre is located. The project utilizes a dedicated 10GB fiber Ethernet security network backbone. System is comprised of a GE/Genetec Omnicast Video Management System, 144 analog legacy cameras (converted to IP), 300+ IP fixed/PTZ cameras, one primary two-station 8-monitor security control room, four remote monitoring/review stations and 200TB of storage.
