Scope Of Work
The Phoenician is one of Arizona largest most luxurious resorts. The building was originally constructed in the late 1980’s and had an existing Honeywell Sentara system. Climatec BTG was challenged to retrofit the Sentara system with an EST3 while keeping the existing system fully functional. The new EST3 system consisted of an EST3 with audio evacuation, 15 node copper network, 1 Fireworks Graphics Station, 987 signature devices, 287 Genesis strobes, and 1381 Genesis speaker strobes. Climatec BTG installed this system in a phased process.
Work was completed is the summer months when the hotel’s occupancy is low. Challenges on this project include short turn over times for areas of construction. The hotel closed down an entire wing for the construction process and our project manager provided daily reports to the resort personnel to ensure a prompt completion. The first phase of this project was turned over to the resort a week ahead of schedule.
