K. E. Curtis Construction Company, Inc. was founded in 1969, to provide specialized construction services and value to the petroleum industry. We remain fully dedicated to those principles and as a company we are mindful of the overall needs of both fuel energy and commercial companies. With offices strategically located in Thousand Oaks, Lathrop, Murrieta and Las Vegas, we effectively complete projects for our customers throughoutCalifornia and Nevada.  

The staff of KEC supports our industry through participation in the PEI, advisory staff meetings with manufacturers and advisory review board membership for removal and installation practices of fuel storage tanks.  We have ongoing employee enrollment in technical training and maintain a comprehensive structured Health and Safety program. All appropriate personnel have 40-hour training under OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910.120., API certifications, required ICC certifications, manufacturer certifications, equipment licenses and are regularly reviewed for on-site job safety performance by our own OSHA certified HAZWOPER (Hazardous Waste Operations) instructor and Safety Director.  A continuing regard for technical development helps us to consistently achieve our goals.

Our completed projects cover a wide array of locations and types of work.  We are equally at ease with small and large projects, new site builds, remodeling existing facilities, above and below ground demolition and shoring installation/removal projects. We are proficient at performing single site projects, multi-location projects and portfolio roll-out programs. We have an impressive fleet of our own heavy equipment, which we have custom-tailored specifically to the petroleum and alternative energy industries.
