Scope Of Work
BIBO Ergo Sum means “I drink, therefore I am” in Latin. The bar menu is themed after the progression of a magician’s illusion – The Pledge, The Turn, and The Prestige. The Pledge is where the magician shows the audience the canary. The Turn is when he makes the canary disappear, leaving the audience wondering where the bird went. The Prestige is the climax and resolution of the illusion where the magician makes the canary reappear to the delight of the audience. BIBO has tied this into its menu by taking what appears to be common libations and elevating them to a level never before experienced by the patron.
HOME Studios drew inspiration for the interior design of BIBO Ergo Sum from 19th-century France and Italy. This 2,100 SF cocktail bar involved interior non-structural tenant improvement to an existing space. Howard CDM demoed the existing structures and renovated the space to include new concrete, HVAC, insulation, drywall and fire sprinkler system.
