Scope Of Work
Jamail & Smith Construction is the general contractor for the development of a 6.7-acre senior living facility in Forney, Texas. Silver Spring at Forney is a master planned community that covers approximately 1200 acres of land and features residential and retail development. This facility is the first project in the master plan to be constructed. The senior living community includes one amenity center and 12 single-story, apartment style senior residential buildings. There is a total of 80 fully-equipped, units with a mix of single and double occupancy, constructed of wood frame and masonry veneer with drywall interiors. Each unit contains fire alarms, phone and cable connections. The grounds of Silver Spring at Forney feature garden areas, gazebos, a swimming pool, dog runs, parking lots and security fencing with automated access gates. Jamail & Smith Construction paved concrete streets and sidewalks surrounding the development, as well as complete landscaping sprinkler installation throughout the property.
