This innovative new high school was built to meet the needs of a diverse student population, accommodating up to 1,900 students in grades 9 to 12 and up to 750 students in grades 13 and 14. In addition to traditional high school academics the school offers focused education in science and technology and fine arts, and training in a variety of technical careers, including culinary arts, manufacturing technology, construction trades, auto body and repair, and multi-media. Building Information Modeling (BIM) was an important project management tool from early coordination meetings through construction completion. The 3D BIM model was fully coordinated with the schedule, enabling the team to complete the project one month early.
