Scope Of Work
The project added 3,500 SF of new construction with an additional 1,000 SF of remodeled space within the existing building. A new gym area for physical therapy patients was provided as-well-as new patient changing areas, bathrooms, and office space for the VA Staff. The work included relocation of existing utilities, selective site and building demolition, HVAC with digital controls, fire alarm, nurse call, communications, and a design-build irrigation system for the new landscaping. The medical facility had to remain fully operational for the treatment of patients during all phases of construction. Construction activities required close coordination with the VA Staff and the implementation of infection control measures.
