A renovation to an existing 502,000-square-foot building located near Meacham Airport in Fort Worth, the Gold Spike Warehouse project includes the placement of 470,000 square feet of slab in the existing building, the removal and replacement of portions of the structural steel, the installation of all new electrical service and lighting, the cutting of 79 new overhead doors with all new dock equipment, the infilling of 14 old overhead doors, the lowering of the site elevations by five feet, and the lowering of all existing utilities. The project also includes site paving, new exterior finishes, aluminum canopies and stone façades at the entrances, and two new storefront entries.
