Scope Of Work
The Lehigh County Historical Society's Heritage Center is a two-story, 30,000 SF building with an impressive atrium lobby formed by a pyramidal skylight. Visitors are welcomed through a foyer that has a wall of windows overlooking Trout Hall.
The first floor includes a reception area, museum gift shop and the Library Reading Room which will be open to the public. It also houses a multipurpose room to be used for special events for large audiences and is equipped for films.
The second floor serves as the heart of the museum with 2,500 square feet of exhibit space in two galleries.
A controlled environment archival storage area is in the basement. There is a gift shop on the first floor.
The building is constructed of steel with a bluestone, brick and glass exterior.
