Our Story
The C.O. Barton Company Founded In 1924 at Detroit, Michigan, By Carl Osborn Barton.
Whether it’s a vertical expansion for The Ohio State University Ross Heart Hospital, a new home for pro sports teams like Nationwide Arena, or the single largest building project in city history – like Toledo Public Schools’ $651 million “Building for Success” program – we’re proud to help our Ohio-based clients and partners improve their communities. We established our Columbus office in 1982, and our personnel has extensive experience in the construction of higher education, healthcare, industrial, and public facilities, serving a client base that includes various city, county, state, and private entities.
