Scope Of Work
Quandel Construction Group was selected to provide design-build services for the new $100 million,108-bed West Shore Hospital for UPMC Pinnacle, located adjacent to the Fredricksen Outpatient Center on their Cumberland Campus. Quandel, along with Stantec and Dawood Engineering, served as the design-build team.
The 5-story, 188,000 square foot facility is a full-service hospital with acute medical and surgical care, intensive care, cardiology, orthopedics, operating room suite, pharmacy, chronic disease unit, transitional care, emergency department, food service & cafeteria and a central utility plant.
The hospital, which is designed for the efficient expansion of all floors, opened on May 19, 2014.
