Scope Of Work
Quandel Construction was selected to provide construction management services for UPMC Pinnacle’s new inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Lower Paxton Township. The $14.2 million two-story, 80,150 sq. ft. facility is an addition to the existing Community Campus.
The first floor contains 19,000 sq. ft. of inpatient and occupational therapy units along with a therapy pool. The new facility also contains a new two-story main lobby entrance with an atrium connecting the new facility with the existing hospital. In addition, there is 8,000 sq. ft. of future shell space for growth.
The second floor consists of 56 patient beds comprised of both single and double rooms.
