Argus contributes to O'Hare's largest terminal revamp in its 73-year history.
Argus has been retained by O’Hare Fuel Committee as City Chicago prepares to undergo single largest, most expensive terminal revamp in 73-year history Chicago O’Hare International Airport.
In 2002, Chicago Department Aviation (CDA) conducted an airport wide master plan for O’Hare International Airport (ORD) to prepare for projected increases in flight activity at ORD as well as to address fact that airport was ranked as one most delayed airports country. overall master plan identified major infrastructure improvements to address current future demands Airport. As a result findings master planning effort, CDA embarked upon a major infrastructure improvement program commonly known as O’Hare Modernization Program (OMP).
Developing roadmap for by composing master plan
ORD Fueling Master Plan, composed by Argus, identified provided overall basis for tasks associated with fuel system modifications required to accommodate overall OMP activities. O’Hare Fuel Committee (OFC), its provider Menzies Aviation, retained Argus to serve as Master Engineer for Fuel System Improvement Program (FSIP) to provide technical planning implementation significant modifications to ORD fueling system associated with OMP. Upon completion Master Plan 2014, Argus was retained to serve as Master Engineer to implement FSIP program. This ongoing task has included planning, design, design oversight, procurement, , supervision, cost scheduling overall support $500M airport wide fuel improvement program.
