Scope Of Work

Trinity Building and Construction Management Corp., in partnership with Big Night Entertainment Group, Niemitz Design Group, Beacon Architectural Associates and BLW Engineers, completed construction of Scorpion Bar and The Grand in Boston’s Seaport district. This 24,000 SF, three-story venue consists of an expansive Mexican restaurant with an opulent night club above.

Scorpion Bar and The Grand welcomes guests in a grand lobby with mirrored walls and a monumental staircase with glass guardrails leading to each of the venues. The second floor is home to Scorpion Bar, a Mexican cantina with a large bar and dining area finished with a colorful tile floor, rustic millwork and brick columns. Located on the third floor is The Grand; this glitzy, sophisticated club features two bars and a dance floor, as well as a VIP lounge and bar. Features include a massive LED wall and highly sophisticated lighting and sound systems.

Careful procurement of materials and sequencing of work was crucial to the completion of this project, including the installation of detailed acoustical soundproofing assemblies to meet Seaport Square’s sound control requirements. Trinity’s team successfully completed the project on an accelerated 26 week schedule.
