Scope Of Work
Cardinal renovated IMGD Labs at Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI). This renovation was performed during the summer break while the buildings were occupied by faculty members. Cardinal closely monitored the schedule of this fast-track project to ensure the time sensitive completion. Cardinal moved faculty out of the existing space to a newly constructed office space in Fuller Hall in order to commence the IMGD Labs project, which consisted of renovating existing offices and converting existing classrooms to computer science laboratories. This renovation was completed prior to the start of the new school year. The details of this renovation included demolition, construction of new offices, installation of new mechanical equipment, finishes, storefronts, audio-visual equipment, voice/data cabling, placement of new conduits and wire molds, replacing existing direct digital controls and the coordination and installation of new, custom-built computer lab furniture.
