Scope Of Work
Design/build project consisting of a 55,000 SF, single-story consolidated dining facility for the Second, Third and Support Recruit Training battalions. This facility supports a serving requirement of 6,144 personnel, not including staff. The project consists of single-story steel and masonry framed construction (with a full-height crawlspace) on pile foundations and grade beams, and is designated for compliance with area hurricane and seismic zone requirements. This project also included demolition of the existing dining facility upon completion of the new facility. The project received LEED® Silver certification.
