Scope Of Work

This project consisted of the complete gut and rebuild of a roughly 57,000 square foot, two-story library located in the heart of Macon State College’s active campus. The existing library was completely stripped down to the exterior cast-in-place concrete building envelope, which was also to be repaired and added onto. This allowed for a total transformation and modernization of the interior build out and entrance expansion. The renovated facility now houses new meeting and conference rooms, computer labs, Peach net server rooms, periodicals, administration offices, and a small bistro restaurant with Starbucks Coffee Shop. As a result of Parrish’s performance on the and client satisfaction, additional work was awarded in the form of a new exterior library plaza.
