Scope Of Work

Seventy five percent of the students at Lynchburg College participate in fitness and wellness activities, including varsity sports, club sports and intramural sports. As part of its commitment to student sports, the college undertook a major expansion and renovation of Shellenberger Field. The project constructed a state-of-the-art synthetic playing field, an eight-lane synthetic surfaced track, new stadium lighting for night play, a 500-seat stadium bowl, an open air press pavilion, and donor recognition area. The pavilion also serves campus tours, outdoor classes and numerous other non-sport functions.
