Our Story

Weldon Materials is a leading New Jersey producer of crushed aggregates, hot mixed asphalt, and ready mixed concrete. Along with two quarries, Weldon operates nine hot mixed plants, three state-of-the-art ready mixed plants, and two contractor supply yards. A family business established in the 1890's, Weldon Materials and its subsidiaries have continually been leaders in the construction industry. Having started as road and bridge builders, Weldon now supplies New Jersey's contractors with the road and building materials necessary to keep New Jersey infrastructure strong. Weldon Companies operate two hard rock quarries in NJ. Our trap rock quarry in Watchung and our granite quarry in Lake Hopatcong supply ASTM approved aggregates to the construction industry. To insure timely delivery of materials, a fleet of trucks is readily available through our dispatch offices. And, Weldon's full time staff of quality assurance professionals is available daily to insure the consistent delivery of quality products. Our technicians are available to offer customer service and technical information on products and product applications.
