Scope Of Work
Wayne Farms, the sixth largest vertically-integrated poultry producer in the U.S. maintains 12 facilities across 5 states. In 2015, Wayne Farms contracted with Cheyenne Construction Company to renovate the main cooler walls and continue expansion for the Dothan Processing Plant in Alabama. Originally standing at 111,175 square-feet, this pace includes the processing lines, employee wellness center, parking garage, hatchery, and feed mill. For the 2015 updates, Cheyenne Construction provided the following elements:
118,900 square feet of slab on grade
640 linear feet of 25’ tall cast-in-place walls
70,500 square feet of paving
