United Drilling specializes in rock drilling for the caisson industry.  We carry single pass rock drilling sizes from 12" to 36" and have drilled up to 96" rock sockets using various technologies.  While we leave the steel and concrete up to the experts in those fields; we can complete the rock drilling portion with ease and efficiency. Many of our client relationships are based with large drilling firms.  

Membership & Qualification

Our field personnel have an average of 15 to 45 years experience, drilling everywhere from The Guggenheim Museum to Capitol Hill. They are members of the International Union of Elevator Constructors, and our firm is signatory to all union agreements. Several of our employees are trained and qualified as Confined-Space and 40-hour OSHA Hazardous Site Workers, and we also have respirator-trained crews. United Drilling, Inc. is a member of the National Association of Elevator Contractors (NAEC) and the International Association of Foundation Drilling (ADSC-IAFD).
