Scope Of Work
Celerity provided design, OSP Engineering, permitting services, construction, splicing and testing for the Carlisle School District’s federally funded district-wide Fiber Optic Cable Installation Project located in Carlisle, PA. The project consisted of nearly 7 miles of OSP cable to be placed on utility poles and via underground construction. CASD issued a notice proceed in late January, 2016 and Celerity completed the project in early July, 2016. Celerity performed the aerial installation of approximately 2,200 Linear Feet of fiber optic cable and the installation of approximately 29,700 Linear Feet of fiber optic cable within newly placed underground 2” SDR11 HDPE Conduit, as well as all related fiber splicing and testing services for the connection of the fiber terminal equipment in seven buildings. Following the completion of the CASD fiber project, Celerity was awarded a separate renewable yearly contract to provide CASD with fiber optic maintenance and emergency repair services.
