OCW was created to solve two needs in kitchen remodeling: immediate availability and affordable quality. Created by Bill Oxley in 2004, the business model was intended to be a place to pick up cabinets that day. “Affordable quality cabinets in stock, ready for immediate delivery.”
Immediately that morphed into delivering, then designing and installing. We added laminated countertops to our delivering, design and installation but decided to refer other materials like granite, Corian, etc. to our business partners without an upcharge to our customers.
We are licensed, insured and bondable for large and small projects. We have the people, systems and resources to work around other trades’ schedules and are used to getting things done with very little notice. We guarantee our work and products.
Right now, we carry three styles of cabinetry in stock by two different American manufacturers: Kitchen Kompact’s Dwhite (painted white shaker), Glenwood beech (stained chocolate brown shaker), and Chadwood oak (traditional lightly stained) and Bella white Shaker from Green Forest Cabinetry. There are dozens of other choices of styles, finishes and paints, wood species and options that we can get within a week or so to 4 weeks max.
We kept getting asked for countertops same day or so but were never able to meet that need until now. In March, 2019, we started carrying laminated countertops from Hartson-Kennedy in stock and cut them to size for most projects. These tops will have the eased, rounded edge without attaching the backsplash. These can be ready as early as within a day. We carry 21 of the most asked for patterns in stock but what we don't carry in stock, we will be able to get them generally within a week.
We have also expanded our business recently to ship our products to locations outside of immediate areas already to the Key West, Florida, and to the Carolinas. We have recently agreed to be a distributor to Home Depot and their subsidiaries nationwide.
