Exterior repairs and historic restoration
Property
Mixed-use (retail and residential) five-story building located in the Ladies’ Mile Historic District of Manhattan. Constructed in 1870 and featuring an ornate cast iron facade and corner pavilion with a tall slate mansard roof, it was originally the home to the third Lord & Taylor Dry Goods store. Designated a New York City Landmark in 1977.
Highlights

Original decorative cast iron facade details repaired where possible or replaced with fiberglass replicas.

Main, bulkhead, and tower roofs replaced. Original slate shingles on mansard and pavilion roofs reinstalled where possible or replaced with matching slate.
