Scope Of Work

The congregation of Monaca United Methodist
Church had an ambitious plan -not only
provide an elevator to allow access to the
various levels of the church but to also builda
new community center complete witha
gymnasium and full kitchen.
Although the initial bids for the construction
were well over their budget they asked
architect Dan Franus and Adolph Johnson&
Son Co. to see if there was a way to bring the
costs within reach.The value engineering entailed both
structural and aesthetic changes to the
proposed building but ultimately the cost
target was met and the beautiful new
community center was completed
providing a place for events and
activities for all ages to be held.
