Scope Of Work

The purpose of the Total Army School System (TASS) Training Center project is to serve the 80th Training Division of the Army Reserves. This 48,649 square foot project is comprised of three facilities – a Training Center, a Vehicle Maintenance Shop, and a Storage Building. Also included in the project are access roads, parking areas, an outdoor plaza area, landscaping, site work, and associated service utilities.

The 41,902 square foot Training Center is a two-story building offering a wide range of training amenities, as well as administration and support functions. It contains 15 classrooms that all feature raised access flooring, providing flexibility. Some of the classrooms also have operable partitions for reconfiguration. The largest classroom, located on the first floor, has a capacity of 60 people and can be used for assembly purposes. Each classroom has a motorized projection screen, universal projector mount, marker boards, one closet for storage, and one for data communication. Each work station has individual electrical and data outlets. The Training Center also includes office and administrative areas, a conference room, a computer repair room, a break room, and a 2,264 square foot instructional kitchen for training Army chefs. This industrial sized kitchen is equipped with 13 oven ranges with exhaust hoods, ansul suppression systems, a dishwasher, fryers, griddles, steamers, meat slicers, hot and cold serve tables, deep freezers, refrigerators, and a grease interceptor. The Training Center is designed to accommodate 200-300 people daily.
