I.T.S. Construction, Inc.

James B. Tortora Jr. has spent many years learning the trade by working closely with his father, who was a custom home builder. Growing up in the building industry, Jim has 40 years of building experience and has learned to work with and understand customers' needs.

Today, Jim's company, I.T.S. Construction Inc., builds custom homes, does renovation/additions to commercial buildings and remodeling to family homes. Jim takes pride in their customized work and his goal to keep every customer pleased with the end result of their project.

I.T.S. Construction attributes some of its success to its office manager, Sherry Shafer, who handles many areas of the business, working closely with its customers, helping them with their selections and assisting them with any concerns. I.T.S. Construction takes pride in their customer service, believing that developing a strong relationship with its customers before, during and after construction is top priority. I.T.S. Construction also credits its eight field employees, with a combined 80 years experience, making much of the company's work hands-on, attending to each and every phase of a project. Jim visits each project site at least twice a week, working closely with clients and his subcontractors to assure satisfaction.

I.T.S. Construction is a member of the North Canton Chamber of Commerce, the North Canton Rotary and the Builders Exchange. Based in Canton, OH, the company does construction all over Stark County and surrounding areas. Jim's visions are to develop a small residential complex in the near future, with a dozen or so separate units similar in size and design. Jim enjoys watching his projects progress, for the beginning stage through the completion of each project. He adds, "The gratification you receive from the customer is irreplaceable, to work with them, meeting their visual ideas, is the best part of my position."
