Scope Of Work
This SLS brand hotel is pure urban elegance achieved within the renovated 1940’s historic landmark South Beach hotel. The hotel tower is 74,831 sf with 132 guest rooms, 4 new kitchens, 2 world renowned restaurants and 2 lounge/bars. A new 21,342 sf rear annex was added to the historic property with 10 unit suites on the upper level, one being a presidential suite and the ground level has 6 cabanas with a beach club bar. All historical lobby elements have been preserved: deco moldings, railings, terrazzo flooring & columns. The basement was extended and contains a new gymnasium, locker rooms & prep kitchen with dumb waiters and trash lifts. Unique materials such as Brazilian Walnut Ipe decking clad the new annex & pool deck areas.
