Scope Of Work
A DeIulis affiliate submitted the winning bid to acquire a former library building from the City of Lynn and convert it into eight residential condominiums. While maintaining the existing building footprint, dormers were added to the roof and the existing attic floor was reframed to create a third level, allowing for four two level living spaces to go along with four single level units. Units featured hardwood and ceramic tile floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and laundry. Elements from the original library were salvaged, refinished and reused in the construction. Closed cell and open cell foam insulation was applied throughout the building to complement high efficiency rooftop HVAC equipment servicing the individual units. Exterior ameneties included off street parking for 12 cars and underground water storage for the irrigation system.
