Scope Of Work

Construction of a 7,000 square foot addition for a new gymnasium, modifications to the existing gym to convert use to a cafetorium, and modifications to the existing cafetorium to create a new main office area. The project scope also included renovations to the existing 60,000+ square foot school for handicap accessibility, new interior finishes, and upgrades to the plumbing, mechanical, electrical and fire protection systems.  Work on this phased school renovation project was scheduled to start at the end of the 2011-2012 school year and be complete by the start of the 2013-2014 school year; however, the contract award was delayed by nearly two months and work did not get underway until mid-August.  Despite the late start, DeIulis Brothers delivered the project on time for the opening of school.  Once construction of the new gymnasium and lobby were complete, the existing gym was renovated into a new cafeteria and auditorium. A new main entrance and administration area was created at the front of the school.  Work was ongoing while school was in session, with MEP upgrades throughout the school occurring over the summer recess and school vacations.
