Scope Of Work
Van Winkle Construction completely renovated the interior and restored the exterior of Thayer Hall on the Clark Atlanta University campus. With approximately 22,000 sf, the three-story building houses classrooms, labs, administrative offices and community outreach area.
Interiors were stripped down to bare bones and new mechanical and electrical systems were installed. We were able to reuse many of the wood beams and wainscoting. The top floor has 15 foot ceilings with some interior glass walls and clerestory windows.
