Scope Of Work
The new 70,000 sf facility serves as the Sugarloaf satellite campus of 12Stone Church while also functioning as the headquarter location for John C. Maxwell’s training organization EQUIP®. The three level facility includes a sanctuary for 1,000 people, a black box theater with seating for 250 and a production suite for editing video filmed on-site. A warming pantry is located near the sanctuary for event catering and a café near the front entrance for ease of gathering. Classrooms, offices, and nurseries are also included.
The building exterior is clad with EIFS and manufactured stone veneer finishes. The majority of the roofing is tapered TPO while the barrel roof over the sanctuary consists of medium bronze standing seam metal panels. A monumental staircase was poured in place and covered with carpeting and millwork, as well as a stainless steel and glass railing.
The new facility will offer much needed space for 12Stone Church to develop the next generation of ministry leaders while enabling the growing organization to train future and present pastors and ministry leaders through partnerships with Wesley Seminary and Indiana Wesleyan University.
