Scope Of Work

The multi-tenant building shown is an example of how involving the Caldwell & Walsh team at a project’s earliest stages saves the owner time and money. Our experience with the City of Danbury’s approval processes allowed us to expedite approvals, moving the schedule along at a faster pace and ultimately allowing tenants to move in sooner. Hence, this resulted in the owner generating money from leases sooner than if they’d used the conventional contracting method. We also saved time by involving subcontractors early to perform MEP design-build to satisfy the building needs, city code requirements, etc. One of the most significant cost saving solutions was changing the contemplated design from an interior elevator shaft to an exterior addition. Not only did this save the owner $100,000, but enhanced the design.
