Scope Of Work
Ever wonder how our brain perceives, understands, and remembers things? This is what researchers in the Department of Psychology at New York University are demystifying, as they conduct meaningful research in the Lab for the Developing Mind.
Construction commenced with the demolition of the existing space. Renovation culminated in inviting spaces conducive to investigating the origin and development of cognitive processes in children and adults. Throughout the research, administrative, waiting, and pantry and kitchen spaces one can find new architectural finishes and custom millwork. Flexible features including demountable glass wall partitions are also evident.
Work stations have accommodations for monitors, eye-tracking and other technologies to help study when, what, and how people learn. Each room has its own controls for heating and air conditioning to provide individual comfort.
