Scope Of Work
L& N Zimmerman's contract was to install 36" steel casing via jack & bore methods under Septa R/W in 4 seprate locations for a 21" gravity sewer line. The longest bores were 155' and 160' and the other two were 100' in length. The project was challenging due to access on several of the bores and also encountering sporadic subsurface rock on a few of the bores. Minimal slope of the 21" gravity was also a challenge but the utilization of a 36" McLaughlin steering head,the threat of having the bore going of course or alignment was eliminated.
