Scope Of Work
Eastown Vet opened its doors in 2011. Five years after opening, the practice was so successful that additional space was needed to meet growing customer demand.
The result: a two-story addition featuring a new separate lobby for cat owners, new dental and surgical areas, staff conference room and offices, and an entirely new cat clinic.
The existing one-story facility underwent a complete renovation and is now the dedicated “dog” side, which includes a separate lobby for dog owners. The area where the original and new buildings connect was reconfigured to provide increased capacity for dental and surgical procedures and much needed training space for staff.
Construction began in August 2017 and was complete in June 2018. The 15-employee clinic has doubled the size of their facility in preparation for continued growth and success.
Careful planning and coordination were required as the facility, located on a tight site surrounded by residential properties, remained occupied and operational throughout construction.
