Scope Of Work

Environetics worked with St Mary Medical Center in Langhorne, Pennsylvania, to plan, design, and provide construction phase services for a 26 bed (23,000 SF) Acuity Adaptable Nursing Unit. Challenges in this project include designing for medical/surgical patients and their families with a hospitality atmosphere while including all of the high tech and programmatic features of an Intensive Care Unit. Environetics also completed project benchmarking, researching of trends and integrated details into the design to care for elderly patients – an emerging sub-specialty and environment called Acute Care for Elderly, or ACE. Construction began in September 2014 and the facility opened in July 2015.
