Scope Of Work
Elementary School Re-Build
New construction of a 3-story, 103,000 SF elementary school with 43 classrooms and an 890-student and 120-staff capacity.
Project scope included all construction trades, plus extensive technology add-ons, including fire detection and digital voice evacuation system, music room, media management, cabling, CCTV, intrusion detection, emergency call system, VOIP telephone system, and classroom, cafetoria, and gymnasium audio visual systems. Site work included excavation, trenching, temporary seeding and straw, sod, structural fill, concrete walks, and curbs.
The building was designed to support collaboration and flexible instruction through the incorporation of collaborative areas. Features include a state-of-the-art maker space, a library with a 2-story ceiling, a teaching area, a spiral staircase, and a full-size gymnasium with hardwood floor.
