Scope Of Work

In response to an overwhelming community need for this type of hospice health care facility to serve
the Bakersfield metropolitan area, Klassen Corporation in conjunction with the commissioned architect
constructed this 24,777 square foot facility.

This home is California and the western United States’ first and only freestanding in-patient hospice
home. It will expand Hoffmann’s ability to provide hospice services to all hospice-eligible patients
that family’s cannot provide the care that they need. This facility has the exterior and comfort of a
beautiful home with 18 patient rooms, chapel, family lounges, and a dining area to accommodate
not only the patients but their families as well.
